Who we are

Acceptance
By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms apply to learners, instructors and anyone using the app as a guest.
What the app is — and is not
Driving Test Simulator is a practice and training aid. Mock tests are marked to the DVSA DL25 standard and ADI Part 3 assessments follow the DVSA scoring structure, but Driving Test Simulator is not a DVSA product or service, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA, and nothing in the app is an official driving test or an official result. A pass or fail shown in the app is a practice estimate, not a prediction or guarantee of any outcome on a real DVSA test.
Routes and navigation — read this before you drive
In-app test routes and turn-by-turn guidance are generated from third-party mapping data (OpenStreetMap, OSRM, Google Maps) and checked at the desk — cross-referenced against map data and driven in simulation — not by a person physically driving them, unless a specific route is explicitly marked in the app as road-checked. Roads, signs, road layouts and restrictions can and do change after a route is built. You are solely responsible for observing the actual road, all traffic signs, signals and laws, and the instructions of any supervising driver or instructor with you, at all times, in preference to anything the app says. Never follow an in-app instruction that conflicts with the road in front of you, and never use the app in a way that takes your attention off driving safely. "Practice from here" routes are generated automatically and carry the same caveat.
Who can use it
The app is intended for learner drivers (normally 17+, in some cases 16 under the relevant DVSA rules) and driving instructors. If you drive using the app you must hold a valid provisional or full GB driving licence as required by law, and any practice or mock-test drive must be undertaken exactly as a real driving lesson would be — with a qualifying supervising driver or ADI, in a vehicle that meets legal requirements, insured for the purpose. The app does not supervise you and is not a substitute for a qualified supervising driver.
Your account
Keep your password secure and don't share your account. Instructor status (PRN) is self-declared at sign-up; we may ask for verification and may suspend an account where information provided turns out to be false. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app or via our account deletion page.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to harass another user, submit false instructor credentials, attempt to access another person's account or data, interfere with the service, or use it in any way that isn't for its intended purpose of driving-test practice and instruction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the reports, notes, signatures and lesson records you create. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you (and to whoever you deliberately share them with — your linked instructor or student, or friends if you turn sharing on). We don't use your content for any other purpose. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail on what's collected and why.
Service availability
Driving Test Simulator is currently a free beta. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, or the service as a whole, at any time, and we'll do our best to give notice where a change affects your data. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited or excluded. Subject to that: Driving Test Simulator is a free practice tool, not a real driving lesson, a real test, or a substitute for your own judgement and compliance with the law and the instructions of your supervising driver. We are not liable for any accident, injury, traffic offence, fine, test result, or other loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on any route, instruction, score or assessment it produces. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to £0, reflecting that the app is provided free of charge.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do, and material changes will be flagged in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the app.
